It’s been an interesting month already! Of course, October is always the best month – It’s my birthday month! It’s also breast cancer awareness month! So please let’s all #getthetittieschecked!

This month, we’ve all seen the terrible things going on in our sister country. I stand in solidarity with our Nigerian family, protesting for life – something we should never have to beg for! We should all stand with them. We pray the government somehow sees the light and comes up with a way to #EndSARS and #EndSWAT!

Now… As my birthday approaches (22/10, in case you were wondering, lol) You’re going to be able to pre-order Perspectives! Yes, I’m beyond excited! Also, I would be so happy if this month, you could share both Perspectives and Akaa & Alima with everyone you know! Let’s talk about it everywhere! And as always, I look forward to all your comments, feedback, critique, etc.

Hugs, kisses, and birthday expectations,

Elise.

Character Line Up (Because too many people are getting involved, and a lot of us are kind of confused!)

The Agency – A discreet agency for high class escorts.

Akaa – Rich businessman, who frequents the Agency. Has a preference for Alima.

Dionne – Akaa’s wife. A beautiful petite Pharmacist.

Alima/Lina – Young girl, high class escort at the Agency.

Naana/Nina – Scarred young girl with a son, born out of rape. High class escort at the Agency

Adzo/Anna – Young woman, with past sexual traumas. High class escort at the Agency.

Dr. Daniel Anto – Orthopaedic Surgeon, who frequents the Agency.

Celine – Anto’s wife. A constantly nagging Caterer.

Talaata – Divorced multimillionaire who frequents the Agency. Her preference is younger men.

Teju – Young man, high class escort at the Agency

Adzo, Naana and Alima got close while learning to manoeuvre themselves at The Agency. Alima was always the blithe girl that everyone loved. Adzo was quiet. Almost too quiet. But she was a great listener. Naana was like the middle ground between the two of them. She was not exactly Alima’s happy-go-lucky kind, and she was certainly not Adzo’s overly calm type.

In the beginning, they were all quite oblivious to their fates. They assumed they’d come to school. With time though, they figured it out. They weren’t exactly averse to it though, because they enjoyed each others company, and the people at the Agency were actually lovely. Plus the men treated them well.

And even though they were considered close, they really knew nothing about each other’s pasts.

Lately, Alima was constantly dancing on and on about her one client. It was pretty pathetic watching her, seeing how she was somehow falling for some idiot who had a home and a family, yet still required their services. Actually, it was sad to watch. The had been warned against falling in love. Naana had tried to talk her into her senses. Adzo had used her eyes as usual, to communicate in that way that all three girls understood. But Alima was besotted!

Talaata was a force to reckon with! When she walked into a room, not only did she ooze charisma, her fragrance preceded and remained long after she’d left. She smelled of gardenias and something people could hardly place. It was ‘Rich Aunty Oud’ she always had on.

She was tall and beautiful, with the high cheekbones of a model, and quite a bosom! Her backside was not exactly her strongest feature, but she had wide hips and moderately thick thighs that gave her a very statuesque look. And she flaunted it with every opportunity she got. She enjoyed wearing accentuating clothes and jewellery, and her closet contained shoes that could probably build a mansion!

She didn’t mind at all being the centre of attraction. She was quite young (depending on your individual understanding of the word, and considering her achievements), energetic, and very successful. And she was one of the sweetest, most stylish people.

She was a computer engineer, who had branched out into business. She owned two firms that worked on production and assembling of computers and providing parts that were difficult to find in the country. She owned another firm that provided software to multiple banks and other financial institutions. She’d done very well for herself. She worked hard. Very hard.

The few women in her industry were mostly robotic, ‘try to be like a man to fit in’, kind of women. And she detested that. She was not one to be found in a boring grey suit – the hallmark of most of the women in her field.

She started using the agency when she turned forty. It was her birthday present to herself. She’d tried a few relationships since her divorce, but none of them seemed to understand the enormity of her work. She’d done a few younger boys, and much as that worked well, they always seemed to want something more. She didn’t mind getting them all they needed. Rent? A car? Some fees here and there? The latest phone or PlayStation? That was never a problem. She just needed a clear head and availability, without pressure, stress or a blabbering mouth.

There had been one young man though, who had almost won her heart. He was great! A medical student who didn’t have too much time on his hands to be wondering if she wanted to go out every weekend. He was hardly demanding and was a very simple gentleman. It worked well for both of them, because the sex was great, and the company even better. But she had to end it when he mentioned a girlfriend. He had met someone at school and was ready to take it to the next level with her.

It was fun while it lasted, but she could take care of herself.

Just before her fortieth, Talaata decided she was done taking care of herself – not necessarily in every sense of it, but her toys couldn’t hold her at night, and her weighted blankets could definitely not whisper sweet-nothings into her ears. Her money couldn’t buy her a listening ear, or a shoulder to lean on.

It was interesting though, how many of her married or dating friends complained.

“The sex is crappy, he barely lasts two minutes. (And that had included foreplay, she said) and when it’s done, he’s usually not interested in a second round. His head game is weak, and honestly, he’s only out here looking to please himself. He doesn’t listen!”

She tried to sympathise with them, but to some extent, she was often jealous that they had actual bodies warming their beds. So she took her life into her own hands, and jumped on the Agency’s wagon. She had absolutely no regrets. A year and a couple of months in, and she had a regular young man she saw weekly at the agency. There was also a special system in place that allowed him to meet her in town once in a while. She would have her driver (who had also been made to sign an NDA) pick him up, for a weekend when she didn’t have work. He was called Teju. Somehow, she knew that was an agency name, that he had an actual name. She didn’t care really. He was great in bed, had a proper sense of humour and could really cook! (He usually made breakfast when he stayed over, because she had her cook and helps take the days off whenever he was meant to visit her home.) His pancakes and French toast were to die for. His head game was a solid ten, and she had no scale to rate his stroke game. He was definitely everything she wanted, and a little more. It was a great arrangement!

Akaa was not thinking straight.

He wanted to take Lina out. Out of the agency. For a week somewhere. She had seen so little in life, and he wanted to be the one to show her.

It was not impossible, but the agency had such strict regulations concerning this, and their privacy documents and NDAs were quite excessive – in addition to a hefty insurance amount, to be returned only if the girl was brought back safely without so much as a scratch, as well as a substantial amount that was paid to the girl, as an allowance for the trip outside the Agency.

But he desperately wanted to. He hadn’t told her yet, but he didn’t think she would be against it.

He had a whole week planned out in his head. They would go to his Ada beach house – that was his only property that didn’t have any caretakers. Once in a while, he went there to get a clear head. Dionne didn’t like that house. The shape of the swimming pool was not to her taste, and the dark-tile theme of the house gave her the heebie-jeebies. She preferred blush and gold themes. He’d allowed her to style their holiday homes in Busua and Elmina. And he’d done Ada and they’d both done Akosombo. So when she needed to get away, she typically went to Elmina. He went to Ada. And when they planned something with their friends, it was mostly at Akosombo.

So it was the perfect place to take her. He just had to take care of a lot of things at work, to be able to afford a whole week off.

He was excited just thinking about it. And it gingered him to get so much done at work!

Anto needed an escort to an orthopaedic Conference in Germany. Much as Celine would have been the most ideal person, and it would have been a great opportunity to work on their marriage, he didn’t know how to see himself alone with Celine anymore. The kids made it easier. He wanted a fun trip – hadn’t had one in ages! He considered using his usual girl from the agency, but he remembered them mentioning the process involved, and he didn’t know if he was ready for all that.

That weekend at the agency was amazing! Anna, his girl, was a very quiet one. It was almost as if the agency knew he needed peace of mind. Plus she knew exactly what to do to and for him. She would usually give him a really good massage and listen to him talk about work. He would explain some procedures as if she understood exactly what they were. She was a great listener. Celine would never even let him complete one sentence!

It was always relaxing with Anna. He enjoyed holding her, gently holding on to her very full, very sensitive breasts, and kissing her all over, feeling her hands touch him everywhere. He loved her calm disposition, and how she looked him in the eyes whenever she went down on him. He loved it when she called his name just before she climaxed.

“Danny…Danny!” That alone could make him nut!

He especially enjoyed how she lay quietly in his arms whenever they were done and totally spent. He would just kiss her neck and ears, and she would shudder and squirm many times, before falling asleep. He would wake up and either find her awake, in his arms just staring at him, or asleep – a quiet small figure in his arms. There were days when he would wake up to her kissing his chest, waking him up to early morning sessions. He genuinely enjoyed every single minute he spent with her.

He was going to have to figure out a way to fulfil all the Agency’s demands. He was taking Anna with him to Germany.

The house was like something out of a dream. Alima had never seen anything like it. It had a long driveway, leading up to quite a big house. With a large, tall door, and many glass windows. The inside was what she imagined a fort to look like. The ceilings were high, and most of the décor and tiling were black and white. The monochrome effect gave it some mysterious look about it.

“I did the décor for this house. The simple black and white appeals to me… makes it easy for me to think.” He said, handing her some wine.

He had picked her up himself in a rental car, and they’d driven through Accra, to Ada. It was the first time she was seeing the outside properly. He drove her through some beautiful places. She had to stop herself from asking where he lived. It would probably have dampened the mood. They had good conversation and good banter the whole ride.

After pouring her the wine, he had to reply some emails. So she took a shower. The master bedroom was what anybody would dream of! There were beautiful paintings everywhere. Paintings that probably cost more money than she’d ever seen in life. The dark grey carpet was so soft, she imagined it would be what it felt like to walk on clouds! The bathroom had a sizeable shower place, in addition to a large bathtub. The mirrors were very elaborate. The balcony leading outside of the room overlooked the sea. It looked so intimidating! She had never actually seen the sea before, but she had imagined herself walking along the shores, with the wind running through her hair. The place just made her breathless!

She took a long shower, hoping he would take his time.

Dear God, or supreme being, if you actually exist, this is the kind of life I want to live when I leave the Agency. I don’t want to have to suffer.

When Akaa returned, she was in bed, asleep. She was in a bathrobe; it looked like she hadn’t actually planned to fall asleep.

He was actually smitten. He didn’t want to think about it much, because he didn’t know where it went from here. All he knew. Was that for the next week or so, he was going to have an amazing time – and ensure that she did too.

Who knew, he could even decide to get her out of the agency, get her a place like this, and then ensure that she did all the things she wanted to do!

Akaa take your damn time! You are a married man, with children, responsibilities, and quite a good reputation! Don’t throw it away for knacks!

But it really wasn’t the knacks was it? He was in love. With a prostitute. Who did that? Who fell in love with the person they were only using to get what they weren’t getting in their marriage?

He took a shower to help clear his head. He thought and thought. Dionne could never ever find out about her. The best thing would be to actually forget about Lina. This is what he liked about this place. It really cleared his head. It gave him sense.

She joined him in the shower. He had been so deep in thought that he only noticed it when she touched his back. His body responded even before he could process her touch. All the thinking flew out the window. He kissed her deeply, running his hands through her thick wet hair. Her hands roamed his whole body. Slowly, he pushed her against the cold glass pane, his lips travelling from her neck to her nipples and then all the way down. She was surprisingly already sopping… He made love to her multiple times that night, in multiple places, and multiple ways! There was no denying it. He was in love with her.

And it was not a one-sided feeling.
